JULY MINISTRY OF THE MONTH - Trinity Lutheran School, Conklin, MI

Its is the mission of Trinity Lutheran School to provide an excellent education in a Christ-centered, student-focused environment. In addition to our robust academic curriculum, 

Trinity’s teaching staff provides instruction in areas of technology, art, music, and physical education. In addition to the instruction of our own staff, Trinity works in partnership with Coopersville Area Public Schools through the “shared time” program. Shared time allows us to offer additional instruction utilizing specialized teachers through Coopersville Area Public Schools.

We are lifting this organization up in prayer during the month of July, and will take a goodwill offering the last Sunday of the month, July 28, to help them in their mission.

2024 YOUTH NIGHTS

We hope to see your tweens and teens at our bi-monthly Youth Nights!  During the summer, all Sunday youth nights will be at St. Luke. The fun runs from 6 pm - 8 pm, unless otherwise indicated. During the school year, we partner with Trinity Lutheran Conklin, and Grace Lutheran Coopersville teens.  Your kids are most welcome, and encouraged to invite their friends.

2024 MICHIGAN JR. HIGH YOUTH GATHERING 

This gathering will be held in July, 2024,  meeting other youth their ages, participating in worship and devotionals, service projects, song, and other activities. We are able to cover the cost of registration for all 14 attendees! 

2024  FEEDING AMERICA MOBILE FOOD TRUCKS

St. Luke partners with Love In Action and Feeding America to support our community.  You and your neighbors are invited to attend our food trucks; each held on a Tuesday evening with distribution at 6:00 pm.  Our events run as a drive-thru, so there is no need to carry your groceries.  

Our final food truck of 2024 is set for August 20.

As the last photo directory for St. Luke was created in 2016… we are building an updated directory this summer.  Stay tuned for dates and times for those who were not able to meet the week of June 23 for photos.  Our photographer will be available after Sunday worship services.

2025 LCMS SR HIGH YOUTH GATHERING – New Orleans 

Held every 3 years, the LCMS Youth Gathering provides thousands of youth the opportunity to come together to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity.  During the Gathering, youth spend time together in God’s Word, worship, service and fellowship with others from across the synod. 

Registration by November 1, 2024.  Later registration will have an increased cost.  Hotel, travel, and meal costs are not included in the registration fee.   A sign-up sheet is available in the fellowship hall on the information table.

CARE CABINET

St. Luke offers shelf-stable food and health / hygiene / cleaning supplies to the greater Nunica community. Located in the main entry of the church (on 2nd Street), the Care Cabinet is open 24/7.  

Our Care Cabinet is 100% donation-driven.  Please, take as you need and give if you can! Items to consider donating:
