2026  Community Trunk-or-Treat and Chili Cook-off

Get ready for an afternoon of fall fun, friendly competition, and festive creativity. Our annual Chili Cook-Off and Trunk or Treat is set, and we want everyone to be part of it!

  • Trunk or Treat: 4 – 4:30 pm 
  • Chili Cook-off competition: 4 – 6 pm

Costumes encouraged—kids, adults, families, and friends! 

Decorated vehicles welcome—bring your best trunk design and help create a joyful, safe space for our children to enjoy.

Chili & Soup Competition: Think your homemade chili or soup has what it takes to win? Enter your best recipe and let the people decide! Each entry will have a bowl placed beside it, and the winner is determined by the amount of cash “votes” placed in their bowl. All funds raised support our Support of Youth fund.

  What to Expect:

  • A parking lot full of decorated trunks and costumed families
  • Treats, and treats, and treats!
  • Delicious homemade chilies and soups
  • Friendly competition and lots of laughter                                                                 

2025 Recap: Steve & Sarah Hecksel had a fairytale ending to the 2025 Chili Cook-off as they came in first place.  

Terry & Elaine Van Dyke captured second place.
